Who doesn't love a piece of fresh, home-baked cake, especially when it's cold and grey outside!
Beat, mix and get messy together with your little one. Our friend Joana shares her tasty yogurt cake recipe below...
Easy Yoghurt Cake
Ingredients:
1 container of yoghurt - 125 grams - (either flavoured or natural yoghurt. If natural, add orange juice, lemon juice or any other flavour)
1/4 container of sunflower oil
2 containers of sugar
2 containers of flour
4 eggs
2 teaspoons of baking powder
Tips:
- Make sure all ingredients are room temperature
- Container used for measure is 125g
Step 1
Heat the oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a cake tin with a little bit of butter and flour.
Step 2
Put all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and beat with a wooden spoon or a hand-held mixer until combined. Use the yoghurt container to measure all the ingredients.
Step 3
Pour into the prepared cake tin and bake for approximately 40-45 minutes.
Step 4
Let cool completely, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
