Letters from the Zooniverse, Volume I
Can we stay here forever?
A hundred light years away from tomorrow
Settled in the glow of nothingness—
The sunniest form of us
Resting in the open palm of today
Where connection
And stillness
Are the rarest of constellations
The best form of dopamine
Is time
So, let July be July
Sleepy, sweet and entirely ours
Ice cream cones on the pavement,
Windows flung wide open
Honey in the air
Stardust in our eyes
Arms draped in daisy chains
Where the edges of the world dare to soften
Without a care
No need to seize the day
Let’s go—
Nowhere is such a perfect place to be
Where the beating heart of magic lives
Here.
A soft unfurling of time
Ushering into view
A whisper that says—
“I’d choose to relive this moment over and over and over again.”
Simple. Golden. Wrapped in you.
Funny how the art of doing nothing
Is
Everything, really.
