As part of our Summer Farniente series, we’re delighted to introduce Libby Carradice— a talented fashion stylist for kidswear and womenswear and a mother for three. Libby’s reflections remind us of the beauty in simplicity, and the ease of dressing little ones with intention and comfort.
- Tell us a bit about you and where you live.
I’m a mother of two girls, due to pop with our third baby imminently, living in Stamford. I’m also a fashion stylist focusing on kidswear and womenswear.

2. The idea behind Dolce Far Niente is all about slowing down and appreciating the beauty in simplicity. How does that idea resonate with you—both in your work and in everyday life?
Since having children, I’m conscious to try a be as slow as possible, both to soak up my days with them and also allow them time and opportunity to be still and learn about their world in a calm and slow environment. There’s so much beauty when you pause and watch children learn, grow, explore, discover.
3. The countryside and farm setting brought so much texture and atmosphere. How did the location influence your outfit choices on the day?
I love for the girls to dress comfortably and not feel restricted when exploring and having fun. The pieces are so easy to throw on, all of the collection work so beautifully together that we can spend less time fussing over putting together an outfit and more time playing, whilst looking and feeling lovely!
4. How do you balance simplicity with intention when styling children’s clothing—especially for a brand like Organic Zoo?
No matter how beautiful a piece might be, I think if it’s impractical for the realities of childhood it never looks quite right, so it’s important to me when I’m styling kids to get the balance between simple, practical clothes that are also making a statement about the kids’ personality and my own tastes. What I love about Organic Zoo is that all the items have that perfect balance.
5. As a stylist, what details stood out to you in this collection that made it special to work with?
The thing I love most about the collection is that you can pair any piece together and it works. The colours and patterns are calm, the fabrics are breathable and such lovely quality. The designs are stylish, but you don’t feel like you have to be precious about them playing!
6. Was there a particular moment during the day that stood out to you?
Every moment watching the girls discover and spend time together fills my cup. Delphine particularly loved seeing the donkey, and you can always catch Frida climbing, sliding and jumping in the park.
