Baby’s First Christmas Gift Guide

The Christmas lovers amongst us want everyone to look and feel festive and join in the merriment as much as they can, and that includes babies too! While grandpa may acquiesce only as far as donning the paper hat from his Christmas cracker, babies are (usually) much more compliant! One thing to keep in mind, though, is we want to ensure that while they’re dressed in their festive best, they are still comfy. Luckily, at organic zoo, comfy is what we do! Our little ones don’t need bells and whistles to be entertained, they don’t need flashing lights and chirping music. To make a baby’s life easier, what they really need is cuddles, attention and safety. Lovely things to have but a bit tricky to wrap. So, perhaps this category is things to make life easier for those giving the cuddles! Having the right gear and plenty of it is a game changer. Having backups of the things you use most comes in very handy. A lovey in the car, one in the crib and another for emergencies means your little one will never have to go without it, a situation that’s just as traumatic for the grown-up as it is for the child! And you’ll be amazed how many pairs of socks make it into the wash at the end of the day. Even though babies can’t walk, the socks get chewed, sucked, pulled off and tossed in a nearby puddle! Little ones can never have too many socks. Pop a few pairs in their stocking for sure.

Firstly, you can filter our gifts and clothes by age, so if you’re totally in the dark as to what a little one needs or what size clothes they’ll fit, just select the right age range, and you can’t go wrong! And, if your gift really does miss the mark, we’ve extended our returns window, so you have plenty of time to order the gift, wrap it and give it. Then if it’s not quite right or something they already have or don't need, there’s no need to worry. Send it back, and we’ll swap it for something else.
